Quay

I woke up at 6:30 am to get ready for Carlos' pick up! He was a little late so we hurried through morning traffic to hop on the plane. We made it, but we realised that he had left his car lights on so we knew we would have to deal with a dead battery when we came back.

The flight was about 1.5 hours, and Carlos brought Jelly Bellys with him! I was so excited, until I read the packet... There was going to be two similar looking beans and it was either going to be horrid or splendid.

The worst ones were rotten egg and mouldy cheese, I couldn't even tolerate it! Worse thing was we didn't have any water, the taste totally traumatized my mind. Ughh, thinking about it makes me want to puke
Trying to swallow...

Death beans

I then drew in my dream book for a little - and totally failed by writing "I dream of a scuba dream" obviously I was too tired and wrote dream twice instead of diving... LAME

We landed and found that a chauffeur with my friend's name was waiting for us! I totally forgot to mention that this entire trip was FOR FREE because Carlos had a VIP deal going on! HOW COOL IS THAT!?

Checked into our room!

Had a beautiful lunch at Sean's Kitchen... FOR FREE!

I had John Dory, he had a barramundi

Then we went for a stroll from Darling Harbour into the heart of Sydney City
We passed the maritime museum...

Walked all around and stopped by Chinatown where Carlos fueled my new found addiction of the claw grabbing game thingy... I had no idea Pachinko would be in Sydney, I still don't have any idea how the game works though...

This game was rigged! I pulled a bear so close to the edge.. until I went to get change and the dude moved it back! GRR

We finally got two plushies after strenuous hard work

I used to hang here every weekend back in my childhood because our solicitors were in Sydney! Hahha I haven't been back since so this was a huge reminiscence for me!

Our domo looks pathetic compares to this giant one!

Had green tea and lychee rose icecream in the afternoon

Strange Darling Harbour monument..

We returned to our pit stop to rest up and get ready for dinner which was at Australia's No. 1 restaurant - Quay! The view from our window (damn that construction crane!)

Carlos has this behemoth DSLR camera, so yes it does look like Google Images hahahaha!

Have you ever been to a hotel with.. a PILLOW MENU? LOL

Ok so I embarrassingly fell asleep while drawing...

We caught a taxi to Circular Quay where both the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge can be seen

The food was so beautiful, I was so happy with my dinner that euphoria was rolling round and round in my stomach!
