Qee

Kevin woke me up at a ghastly 9:30am which means about 4 hours sleep for me. I had to get ready in less than half an hour! I woke up groggy Deshna and we procrastinated in bed for a little bit haha.

Kevin then took me to Chadstone Shopping Centre where he bought tickets to attend a Qee Workshop - to design the Qee figurine.

We did a quick pit stop at McDonalds to fuel on chicken nuggets. We had to wait about 10 minutes but they were the best chicken nuggets I ever had! People should order the day menu at 10:30 on the spot to ensure the utmost freshness.

Kevin and I were scared that we were going to be the only big kids at the workshop, but we were in the okay as other adults participated. We were handed a bag with the blank Qee figurine, a packet of Sharpie markers, mints and a magazine. We all got seated around a big table full of stickers, glue, random scraps of material etc.

I wasn't hungover but my mind had tumbleweed passing through so I just sat there going, "Uhhhhhhhhhhh......" while all the other participants started scrambling for stuff to stick, draw and wrap around their Qee figurine.

I'm always too simple!

It was too early in the morning for this, I just started sticking these black studs on and flowing with it.

Eventually I ended up with a Cruella de Vil of a figurine, black on one side, white on the other. I mean most people probably interprets it as good and evil. I like to look at it as my tomboyish side and femininity. Just because the black is like studs and the white is crochet, lace and pearl hahaha!

Random shoppers started coming up to Kevin and I and saying how ours was adorable and they work well in a couple, I wanted to puke. I looked over at Kevin's and was so surprised at how similar we are as best friends because his DOES look like in pair with me! We didn't even plan on it! Great minds think alike I guess!

Afterwards, we popped by a Comic book store on Lonsdale st for Kevin to purchase some comics, then we ate lunch at a Chinese restaurant in Footscray. It was very delicious!

I got home, watched television for 5 hours (Sunday nights are my favourite, compromising of NCIS, CSI, The Mentalist, Jamie's 30 Minute Meals etc.)
