Tetsuya's

We woke up super dooper early to join a tour for the day! We opted to do this as we wanted to go see the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves, and this was the easiest/cheapest option! I hadn't been to see these New South Wales treasures since I was a child so I wanted to refresh my memory.

Blue mountains wasn't as awesome as I had remembered, so I probably should've left the vague memory as be. Still, it was very beautiful to look at the blue light scattering the eucalyptus mountains gave off!

Party tricks

After exploring the Blue Mountains, Carlos and I went spelunking in the Jenolan Caves! We were the only ones who decided to cave instead of the normal tour where you just walk around to see the crystals. We wanted to get down and dirty hahaha!
First we abseiled into the plug hole
The harness created a crotch okay?! STOP STARING!

We hoisted ourselves through little crystal windows

Sometimes, we just had to let ourselves fall through (this is scary)

Sometimes we wriggled under

Or army crawled with dead legs and tucked in bums to fit through!

We slid down on mud and dirt! Hahaha, my pocket got ripped, my back got caked with dirt and my bum bum is not from a lack of sphincter control... LOL

We survived!

We had a 3 hour drive back home, cleaned ourselves off - especially our shoes from mud and headed to Tetsuya's - Australia's 2nd Most Awarded Restaurant in the World's Top 50! I have no idea how Tetsuya even got a Suntory Japanese traditional building in the middle of the CBD. Developers could easily build two apartment blocks right here!

Our host was so lovely that she took us on a exclusive tour around the restaurant when it was closing up! I think the staff thought we were like food critics or something with Carlos' massive camera and us being toured around. We were just interested in the restaurant though! I wish I could be a food critic hahahahaha I'd be fed like jolly Santa

Bar area with Japanese garden out back!

I stole his jacket because it got cold!

Scary

Scarier

I played with his monster camera

Then we went up to the VIP Sovereign room to watch people gamble their lives away! I totally forgot to mention we were staying at Sydney's Casino Star City! I saw people bet down like $5000 and above! Up in the Sovereign Room we got free drinks so I had a midori, twice and then a Vodka LLB. We watched in amazement at the addicted gamblers, chilled out for a little then decided to go back and take advantage of our free credits by ordering ROOM SERVICE!
Ohhhh yeah, oysters, tomato & basil soup, steak sandwich, hand cut chips and sourdough bread at 2:30 am!

Then we watched Tomorrow When The War Began, well Carlos kind of just fell asleep and snored away and I slept at about 5:30 am!
