I'm so tired from all this walking so expect a very blunt blog.
Walked around Shibuya to find an international bank and a foreign exchange centre. Finally found them both!
Caught a train to Asakusa - I bought two big daruma, a black lucky neko and a kimono doll. I also bought the bag that got stolen from me at the start of year! YAY!
Went to Tokyo Tower - I bought a build yourself nano block panda, a little notebook so I dont forget any details to blog and instructions on how to get to places.. and I think thats it!
Went to Akihabara and bought myself a new digital Ricoh camera wowohwohwohohoohoho (I think I deserve a new camera after 4 years of having the same one.. right?), a figurine, spent about 1000 yen on arcade games, ethernet adapter and a plug converter.
All the crazy cables I need to make this baby run..
IM SO SORE, good night babies! Everyone thinks my friend is Japanese and that I am a full on foreigner so its funny when they look to him to converse in Japanese and then I butt in and say he doesn't understand and then I go and speak my [shit] Japanese. Hahaha! I forget that people stare at half casts in Asian countries!

Jetstar
I pulled an all nighter and crashed around 4 am. I woke up at 4:30 in a bead of sweat as I realised I had half an hour to get to the airport.
I drove Paulo's car and I was really stressed out! But I made it by 2 minutes!
I slept on the plane, 2 hours seemed to go really slow even when you're sleeping - but as soon as I stepped off the plane it was nice to get some warm weather on my skin. I ate a pizza, bummed on their wireless and checked in for international. I went outside to wait for my friend (however he was inside!) and this guy started talking to me. I was thinking I had plenty of time to waste so I didn't mind.
THEN I LOOKED AT THE WATCH and saw 10:30 am! My flight was leaving at 10.50am so I panicked and ran through customs. The lady was like HURRY! YOU'RE THE LAST ONE! As my bags and tray went through the xray machine - my friend was ringing me! How embarrassing.. all the security guards were laughing at me.
Anyway I ran onto the plane and made it, why do I do this to myself?
8 hours seemed to go on forever, I took like 5 naps. Seeing as Wubs and I wanted to be cheapskate, we had no entertainment as well. At one point my legs were getting crazy cramped so I went to the toilet and then just stood around. This flight attendant starts conversing with me and I didn't mind at all - until he put his hand on my bottom. I thought it might've been that silly mistake where you misjudge someone's placement of bits on the body but no.. he put his hand there again and again and again.
I didn't know what to do. But you know what? He was 52… Ugh it makes me vomit. Jetstar service aye?
We got off the plane, bought a ticket for the Narita Express and got to Shibuya. We were stressing because apparently our hotel doesn't provide toiletries and towels - so at 10:30pm we were trying to find a place that sold such things. Took us about an hour and then we had to find our hotel.
With my terrible Japanese, we finally got to Nakameguro but the problem was getting out of the station and finding the hotel. I asked for help and we got shown the way - THEN RAIN STARTED CRACKING DOWN ON US. The walk was about 7 minutes but with our lack of confidence about 20 minutes but we finally got there.
There was also an Ethiopian restaurant on the way there.. unexpected right?
We settled in and went back out to get some snacks and dinner! (I was salivating so much as I walked through food haven)

Sorry my entry is so rushed - I can only do what my laptop battery has left because we haven't bought a converter yet!
I'm so proud I got us to our destination! Phew!

Deep
Mum and I had the deepest conversation as we laid in our designated beds.
She apologised to me for always making me be the middle man and abusing that I never complain. She cried.
She blamed herself for having a fatherless family and her children having a disadvantaged childhood.
I went crazy at her for even saying that - I told her that I saw the positives. Heck, I got to draw on our furniture when we were little because they were all cardboard! Hahahaha
I finally opened up and said my piece of mind - and she was astonished at the things I suffered through that went on right in front of her and she didn't know.
I admitted that I left Brisbane not for my academia but to hold on to my sanity.
I told her that I've never been happier and stable - and I feel selfish for leaving mum behind but I had no choice if I wanted to keep my head.
We ended the night with a talk about my lost future.

Spoilt
I woke up at 10 - to the sounds of mum flitting around the kitchen, bathroom, lounge, study room.. whatever they're all in the same vicinity.
Mum made me call the theatre company to see if West Side Story was booked out, I waited half an hour on the phone to hear a 30 seconds "Mmmm no we're booked out til Wednesday sorry" LAME.
I had a shower and ate some strawberries on the toilet. Mum told me I was weird but I rather think of myself as an ultimato time saver.
Mum began to do that usual whine of "IM HUNGRY DEENAAAAAA" so we decided to go down the road to my cute local bakery..
Old photo but Rachel just tagged me in it - this is the bakery!
She got herself a mighty toasted sandwich and yep, a coffee. I just watched her eat her food like a hawk, and she ate hers like a seagull.

Then Chris picked us up to take mum to her favourite store on Bridge Rd. Mum went crazy and bought heck loads of clothing.
Then we went into a men's store and mum and I decided to make Chris try on some.. stuff.. mens clothing? work clothing haha.
Mum ended up buying Chris two shirts and a sweater - and I ended up learning that Chris takes forever to try on clothes. Worse than me I reckon.
I was starting to feel the shopping urge - I wanted to be spoilt. My time was to come though, don't you worry my little sweet cupcakes, I was going to get major spoiled.
I went into a cute little clothing store and bought a culotte. The girl that was at the register went to Lourdes Hill College as well and we just looked at each other and she was like, "WEREN'T YOU IN THE GRADE BELOW ME?"
I went into the first shoe store I saw and wanted to try on these boots that I wanted to try on all throughout winter - and now they were marked down to 150 FROM 300! SCORE.
They are so sexy, but I do have to be careful with how I dress them - it could be borderline prostitute.
Anyway, as I thanked the girl for waterproofing and selling me my new found boots, she asks me, "Do you blog?"
I was like "Yeahhh.." (starting to blush and my brains started pumping adrenaline into my system)
She said she read it and she asked if it was like "Deena.. something" And im like WOOOOOW thats freaky as! But small world right? I gave her my link again and she said she'd leave a comment.
Hahaha she was the biggest ball of cuteness.
And I walked away feeling that whole 6 degrees of separation phenomenon. CRAZY COOL!
We had lunch at Nandos then moved onto Smith St.
Chris bought me two Nike sneakers, YAY! I'm a spoilt brat yay! Yay! YAAAAAAYAYAAYAYAYAYY! Thank you Christopher... :)
Um, one gigantic size of a bag?
Then we went back to mine and chilled out for a bit. At 7:30 I introduced my all time favourite security guard and close friend, Mohammad to my mother! Then we went on a tram journey to Sushi Masa!
We had lovely little dishes such as croquette, tonkatsu, beef tongue, sashimi etc.
Tram Restaurant..
Then we went to Brunetti's again to buy Mohammad some dessert - how awesome is this cake! NOMNOMNOMNOM

Squires Loft
I woke up at around 12 - all I heard was the wailing of mother reverberating through my small shoebox of an apartment as she complained how hungry she was.
We decided to go to the post office first as she had sent a parcel over a week ago but I hadn't got any notice for it. When we went there, we found out that they did have a parcel for a certain Deena. Lazy bastards.
We met up with Wubs and took a tram into the city where mum wanted some Xinjiang food. We went to that dingy corner store on Swanston street and mum pigged out bad. I told her that she was ordering too much but I think her stomach got the better of her. She ordered lamb shank soup, a plate of chicken and mushroom dumplings and 15 grilled lamb shish kebabs. In the end I ate most of everything.

We then took her to San Churros because my mother has an addiction to coffee. Mum had a cappucino (typical), David had a latte and I had a hot chocolate with marshmallows. My mum also pigged out on some truffles.

Now you know where my piggy appetite comes from.
We all went back to my place and Wubs went home - my mum like a fat little piggy, rolled over on my bed and napped. Afterwards we did my laundry together.
I think these stockings got stretched way too much in the wash - anyone want stockings up to your chest?
At around 7:30pm, Chris picked us up to take us to Squires Loft - the steakhouse in Docklands. He wore a cute little sweater to play the good boy look and I wore the dress that mum bought me last time she was in Melbourne.
Mum ordered Caesar salad because she was bloated from lunch, I had a beautiful eye fillet and not so beautiful baked potato. Chris had a porterhouse steak.
Upon finishing dinner we moved locations back to my area, where we had dessert at the populated and renowned Brunetti's. Yum yum yum! I had this adorable Bacio cake and latte (half strength of course!) and we bought mum macaroons to compliment her cappucino. Chris had a.......... I think cappucino?

We all went back to mine then mum ordered Chris and I to go grocery shopping. Then we just chatted and I went home at 1am.
Then mum and I had a deep and meaningful until ~2:30am. Then I just sat beside her as she slept and I drew some silly little drawings :)
Then it was a good night for Deena.
Yet again, I'm happy.

Mummy
I slept all day until 12pm. Then I went to Engineering - I felt a little sick already so I didn't wash my hair when it was due in for a washing. Bad mistake, because the hot engineering tutor that I had last semester and whom I am immensely infatuated with, came into my class.
He waved a hello to me! And was happy to see me, then 20 minutes later he handed me the test to do that I missed out on while I was sick. Hahahha we also then chatted in the middle of class for like 20 minutes.
My friends finally got to see who this dude was and was threatened by his charming looks, divine dimples and sultry, low voice. Hahahahahahaha!
He told me to call him if I ever needed help with Engineering weow! Hahahahhahaha
Martin and I texted all throughout that class like little kids, even though we were only like 10m away from each other. I was trying to save him from his group members, and he was trying to calm down my school girl crush on that hot tutor.
I went to go see a friend after but I was super hungry so I stopped by to get some Krispy Kremes nomnomnom! I also bought a moleskine book :)
I pretty much just slept until I got a text from my sister saying... THAT MUM WAS GOING TO BE AT MY HOUSE IN ONE HOUR. I was going skitz! I was stressing! I had to do so much before Japan that I was worried so much about mum coming down! I can't take her to fancy places and I have to catch up on school work! I went frantic cleaning the house and trying to call my friends to organise a pick up from the airport.
But I miss her and love her, and we spent the whole night just catching up :) I also introduced her to my big brother Kevin, who brought me my polaroid back and also gave me soup & two toblerones! YUM
I'm happy.
