I woke up to a sky of gloom and doom.
Gloom for the noir wash of the clouds above me, the cold that enveloped around me, and the groggy mind carried after a rough night's sleep.
Doom for the realization of forgetting to approve my scientific calculator, the Engineering System Design exam ahead of me and - the deathly 100km/hr gale which swept me off my feet. And no! Not in a romantic manner.
I spent my given 3 hour limit to scurry and hurry my exam off, but in the amidst of completion a storm broke loose. The rain pounded rather than the usual, cute pitter patter. News reported that the wind was too strong for any rain to be collected as it was more of a wind event.
Luckily, when the exam was over the skies cleared up. But unbeknown to my innocent, country bumpkin mind a gale was approaching. As I cheerfully walked home, through the park, birds fought against the wind and collided into me (the birds scared me more than the wind), bits of dust surged towards my eyes and leaves attempted to paper cut me. I had to stop walking as the wind had dried out my eyes to the point of stinging and crying like freshly cut onion tears. I can't even describe how painful it was, I seriously doubted that I would get home!
Then I found a tissue, wiped my doubts away and put my hoodie on and CHARGED forward.
Although very ugly, I thought you could see my agony and pain. 3 photos so you pumpkins can give me sympathy,
LOOK HOW RED MY EYES ARE, AND TEARY AND SQUINTY!
THIS WAS ACTUALLY MY FIRST ATTEMPT BUT I COULDN'T OPEN MY EYES, LOL
I GOT HOME TO FIND A RED PATCHY FACE
