Patong Beach

Michael and I woke up early and had the hotel's breakfast buffet. We went back to our room to find Carlos had broke into a fever. We told him to sleep some more, but actually we all slept some more. The nap did me good, all that traveling had pummeled my body to exhaustion.

We woke up and Carlos still needed rest. Michael and I hired a moped and drove around Patong. We stopped by a random spot and went for a swim. The sand was soft and the tides were so calm. The water wasn't warm like Cambodia and Vietnam but it was refreshing.

We went back to the hotel room and Carlos was still sleeping. We showered then headed out to the markets. We bought souvenirs, had dinner at a Thai restaurant then went to a dive shop to book a dive trip for the next day.

We had to go back to the hotel to get Carlos' confirmation and more money to change into baht. We booked our dive trip, got a foot massage then shopped a little more. It was a nice, relaxing, cruising day.
